We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Junin where 7th ranked Presidente D. (6-10) was defeated by eighth ranked Sarmiento (4-13) 83-74 on Sunday. Strangely Presidente D. outrebounded Sarmiento 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Diego Lorio (185-86) who scored 30 points and 8 assists. Center Martin Delgado (202-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was center Leonardo Peralta (204-85) who recorded 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Juan Baquero (196-90) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Sarmiento maintains eighth position with 4-13 record. Newly promoted Presidente D. keeps the seventh place with ten games lost. Sarmiento will have a break next round.
