Regular Season Round 21: Eurotrend Biella - Latina Basket 81-78

Seventh-ranked Latina Basket (10-11) made lots of trouble for third ranked Eurotrend Biella (14-7) on Sunday. Eurotrend Biella managed to secure only three-point victory 81-78. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was British forward Carl Wheatle (196-98) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-89, college: IU Southeast) chipped in 10 points and 7 assists. Four Eurotrend Biella players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import power forward Josh Hairston (203-92, college: Duke, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Eurotrend Biella moved-up to second place in A2. Latina Basket at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Eurotrend Biella are looking forward to face Mens Sana 1871 (#14) in Siena in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Latina Basket will play at home against Eurobasket Roma (#12) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
