Regular Season Round 38: Fuerza Regia - Aaguacateros 86-78

Rather predictable result in Monterrey where fourth ranked Fuerza Regia (22-13) defeated 6th ranked Aaguacateros (17-17) 86-78. Fuerza Regia shot 62.3 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Fuerza Regia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. International forward Juan Toscano (198-93, college: Marquette, agency: BeoBasket) notched 16 points and 6 assists to lead the effort and American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) supported him with 20 points. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by the former international forward Stephen Soriano (200-85, college: Colorado Mesa) did not help to save the game for Aaguacateros. American forward Tyrone White (201-90, college: CSU Bakersfield) added 15 points for the guests. Five Fuerza Regia and four Aaguacateros players scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia moved-up to third place, which they share with Capitanes. Aaguacateros at the other side keep the sixth position with 17 games lost. Fuerza Regia will play against Toros (#7) in Nuevo Laredo in the next round. Aaguacateros will play at home against Abejas and hope to get back on the winning track.
