There was a minor upset in Ostersund where 6th ranked Jamtland II (7-6) was defeated by eighth ranked BG Lulea (8-7) 83-75 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-75. BG Lulea made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Gustav Moberg (186-0) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Wiggo Wiberg (201-0) who added 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. BG Lulea's coach Fredrik Joulamo used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side forward Oliver Gehrke (200-0) responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds and forward Petter Salmonsson (194-98) scored 7 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BG Lulea moved-up to sixth place. Loser Jamtland II dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. BG Lulea will face higher ranked Taby Basket (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jamtland II will play against Nacka Basket and hope to win that game.
