Regular Season Round 24: R8 Krakow - Biofarm PZN 90-89

Ninth-ranked Biofarm PZN (9-13) gave a tough game to fifth ranked R8 Krakow (16-7). R8 Krakow managed to secure only one-point victory 90-89. However their fans expected much easier game. R8 Krakow players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Biofarm PZN's players. The winners were led by point guard Marcin Nowakowski (184-89) who scored that evening 19 points, 9 assists and 4 steals and swingman Marcin Malczyk (193-82, agency: Promotex) supported him with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Even a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds by forward Filip Struski (200-94) did not help to save the game for Biofarm PZN. Point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) added 23 points and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted R8 Krakow maintains fifth position with 16-7 record. Biofarm PZN at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Enea Astoria and Kotwica. R8 Krakow will play against SKK Siedlce (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Biofarm PZN will play against Sokol Lancut (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
