Regular Season Round 21: Bergamo - Aurora Jesi 86-99

There was no surprise when 14th ranked Bergamo (4-17) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Aurira Jesi (11-10) 99-86 on Monday. The best player for the winners was American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) who scored 47 points (!!!) and 4 steals. The former international swingman Pierpaolo Marini (193-93) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Dominican guard Gelvis Solano (185-94, college: Merrimack) who recorded 24 points and 4 assists and American-Hungarian forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Inception Sports) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Bergamo players scored in double figures. Aurira Jesi moved-up to ninth place in A2. Newly promoted Bergamo dropped to the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Aurira Jesi will face higher ranked Montegrano (#6) in Montenegrano in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bergamo will play on the road against Roseto Sharks (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
