Regular Season Round 22: Zubry - LKS MG13 Lodz 87-71

An interesting game for Zubry (16-5) which hosted in Bialystok much higher ranked LKS MG13 Lodz (15-5). Second ranked Zubry had an easy win 87-71. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of LKS MG13 Lodz. It was a key game for the second position in Group B. Zubry forced 22 LKS MG13 Lodz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Andrzej Misiewicz (199-84, college: Daytona St. CC) notched a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Bartlomiej Wroblewski (183-92) supported him with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) by forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) did not help to save the game for LKS MG13 Lodz. Point guard Maciej Kochaniak (185-94) added 10 points and 8 assists for lost side. Four LKS MG13 Lodz players scored in double figures. LKS MG13 Lodz's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Zubry have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group B with 16-5 record having four points less than leader Gornik Walbrzych. Loser LKS MG13 Lodz dropped to the third place with five games lost. Zubry will meet Legia 2 W-wa (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. LKS MG13 Lodz will play against AZS UJK Kielce (#8) and hope to secure a win.
