Regular Season Round 22: Sudety - Slask 2 Wroclaw 73-90

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Sudety (12-10) lost to second ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (18-4) in Jelenia Gora 73-90 on Wednesday. Slask 2 Wroclaw made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Sudety turnovers. Sudety was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for point guard Sebastian Bozenko (182-98) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 assists. Forward Maksymilian Zagorski (196-99) contributed with 27 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Rafal Niesobski (189-82) replied with 24 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Aleksander Raczek (192-92) added 17 points and 8 assists in the effort for Sudety. Sudety's coach let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Slask 2 Wroclaw have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Newly promoted Slask 2 Wroclaw maintains second position in Group D with 18-4 record behind leader Gornik Walbrzych. Sudety lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. Slask 2 Wroclaw will face Pleszew (#5) on the road in the next round. Sudety will play against Rawia in Rawicz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
