Everything went according to plan when second ranked AZS AWF Mick. (19-3) defeated on the road 10th ranked Bielsko-Biala (8-14) 108-90 on Wednesday. AZS AWF Mick. had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for AZS AWF Mick. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Bielsko-Biala's players. It was a very good performance for Mariusz Piotrkowski (198-84) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Guard Lukasz Szczypka (185-80) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. AZS AWF Mick.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Forward Robert Kozaczka (199-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Grzegorz Szybowicz (187-86) added 22 points and 5 assists in the effort for Bielsko-Biala. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AZS AWF Mick. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group C with 19-3 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Gornik Walbrzych. Newly promoted Bielsko-Biala keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost. AZS AWF Mick. will face league's leader AZS AGH Krk. in Krakow in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bielsko-Biala will play on the road against Wisla Krakow (#4) and hope to win that game.
