Rather predictable result in Belo Horizonte where fifth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (13-7) defeated 9th ranked Minas (9-10) 81-66 on Thursday. Paschoalotto/Bauru shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Renan Lenz (206-90, college: Utah) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds and Lithuanian Osvaldas Matulionis (200-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. The former international Guilherme Teichmann (206-83, college: Tulsa) responded with 4 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Jefferson Campos (191-91) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Paschoalotto/Bauru maintains fifth position with 13-7 record. Loser Minas keeps the ninth place with ten games lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru will face league's second-placed Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
