Regular Season Round 22: Otmuchow - WKK Wroclaw 62-100

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked WKK Wroclaw (12-10) outplayed on the road 12th ranked Otmuchow (5-17) 100-62 on Thursday. They outrebounded Otmuchow 45-30 including 18 on the offensive glass. WKK Wroclaw looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Otmuchow's players. It was a very good performance for point guard Tomasz Jozefiak (188-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Kamil Fiedukiewicz (188-98) contributed with 23 points and 4 assists for the winners. WKK Wroclaw's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. Krzysztof Wilk (201-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and swingman Michal Zygadlo (190-91) added 11 points in the effort for Otmuchow. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. WKK Wroclaw moved-up to sixth place in Group D, which they share with Sudety. Otmuchow lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. WKK Wroclaw will face league's leader Gornik in Walbrzych in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Otmuchow will play at home against Katy Wroclawskie (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
