An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Melbourne. First ranked United faced 3rd placed Perth Wildcats. Host United (20-8) defeated guests from Perth (16-12) 97-85. It was a great evening for American point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: Long Beach St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points (made all of his eight free throws). The former international guard Chris Goulding (192-88) helped adding 19 points. Five United players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American guard Bryce Cotton (185-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. United have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-8 record. Perth Wildcats lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keep the third position with 12 games lost.
