Not a big story in a game in Tokyo where 4th placed Hitachi Sunrockers (22-16) were defeated by first ranked Ryukyu GK (30-8) 70-57 on Friday. American forward Hassan Martin (201-95, college: Rhode Island) fired 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. International forward Ira Brown (193-82, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Canadian center Robert Sacre (213-89, college: Gonzaga) produced 11 points and guard Tomoya Hasegawa (185-89) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Ryukyu GK. They maintain first place with 30-8 record, which they share with SeaHorses. Loser Hitachi Sunrockers dropped to the second position with 16 games lost. Ryukyu GK will face Osaka Evessa (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
