Regular Season Round 33: RCOP Tsmoki - Brest 80-85

The game with biggest result difference took place in Minsk. Local RCOP Tsmoki (3-26) lost to ninth ranked Brest (6-24) 85-80. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Brest forced 22 RCOP Tsmoki turnovers. RCOP Tsmoki was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for guard Anton Shchurko (188-97) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 4 assists. Kirill Vinokurov contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Brest's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Daniil Barysevich (191-1) answered with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals and Alex Tsynkevich (201-1) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for RCOP Tsmoki. Brest maintains ninth place with 6-24 record. RCOP Tsmoki lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 26 lost games. Brest will play against higher ranked Impuls BGUIR (#6) in Minsk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. RCOP Tsmoki will have a break next round.
