Not a big story in a game in Galway where 11th ranked Maree (4-15) was defeated by fourth ranked Killester (13-5) 79-72. Killester players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Maree's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Spanish center Luis Garcia-hoyos (203-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds.
