Regular Season Round 27: Yamanashi QB - Chanson V-M 60-81

Very expected game when 11th ranked Yamanashi QB (2-25) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Chanson V-M (18-9) 81-60. Chanson V-M players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Yamanashi QB's players. It was an exceptional evening for international forward Sanae Motokawa (175-92) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. International center Miyuki Kawamura (183-94) accounted for 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four Chanson V-M players scored in double figures. Forward Misa Yokoi (170-88) came up with 7 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Miki Huzii (168-87) added 14 points respectively for Yamanashi QB in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chanson V-M maintains fourth place with 18-9 record, which they share with Fujitsu RW. Yamanashi QB lost their thirteenth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 25 games lost. Chanson V-M will play against Haneda Vickies (#10) in Tokyo in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Yamanashi QB will play at home against Denso Iris and hopes to get back on the winning track.
