Regular Season Round 23: Rawia - Sudety 68-58

There was a minor upset in Rawicz where 6th ranked Sudety (12-11) was defeated by eighth ranked Rawia (10-13) 68-58 on Saturday. Rawia outrebounded Sudety 46-30 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for center Grzegorz Paszek (203-93, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Kacper Kuta (191-94) helped adding 10 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Rawia players scored in double figures. Rawia's coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Swingman Aleksander Raczek (192-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Bartosz Jyz (197-97) scored 14 points. Rawia maintains eighth place in Group D with 10-13 record, which they share with AZS PCz. Sudety lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. Rawia will face higher ranked Stal II Ostrow (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
