Very predictable result when third ranked Bologna (15-3) defeated at home 8th ranked Faenza (9-10) 80-67. Bologna shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. The former international point guard Raelin DAlie (168-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Elisabetta Tassinari (175-94) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Bologna players scored in double figures. The former international forward Simona Ballardini (181-81) replied with 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Licia Schwienbacher (170-95) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Faenza. Faenza's coach Cristina Bassi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bologna maintains third position in A2 with 15-3 record having just three points less than leader Sesto SG.
