Regular Season Round 25: Siarka - Polfarmex Kutno 61-86

The game in Tarnobrzeg supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Polfarmex (17-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Siarka (10-14). Polfarmex smashed Siarka 86-61 on Saturday. Polfarmex made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Siarka turnovers. Power forward Michal Marek (208-96) stepped up and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Arkadiusz Kobus (196-86, agency: Promotex) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Polfarmex's coach Jaroslaw Krysiewicz felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Szymon Dlugosz (202-92) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Jakub Stanios (180-94) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Five Polfarmex and four Siarka players scored in double figures. Polfarmex moved-up to third place, which they share with Sokol Lancut. Loser Siarka dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Slask Wroclaw. Polfarmex will meet at home Pogon Prudnik (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Siarka will play against Nysa Klodzko and hope to secure a win.
