Everything went according to plan in Paris where third ranked Angers (13-4) beat bottom-ranked CFBB (3-14) 75-62 on Saturday. They outrebounded CFBB 36-20 including a 23-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was naturalized DR Congolese forward Lorraine Lokoka (184-89) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Soana Lucet (185-87, college: Arizona, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Kenza Salgues (174-0) produced 20 points and guard Marine Fauthoux (173-1) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Angers moved-up to second place, which they share with Toulouse. CFBB lost their seventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Angers will meet at home SIG (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against Charnay and hope to secure a win.
