The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked BC Lulea (16-5) on the court of fifth ranked Sodertalje Kings on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Sodertalje Kings 86-83. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Lulea. BC Lulea cut a 14-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Sodertalje Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sodertalje Kings made 7 blocks. American Auston Barnes (203-91, college: Bradley) scored 25 points (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and international Adam Ramstedt (208-95) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Sodertalje Kings' coach Ludwig Degernas used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) responded with 29 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Quinton Upshur (196-93, college: N.Arizona) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sodertalje Kings (11-11) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Jamtland. Defending champion BC Lulea still keeps top position with five games lost. Sodertalje Kings is looking forward to face KFUM Jamtland (#5) in Ostersund in the next round. BC Lulea will play on the road against the league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
