Regular Season Round 22: Lourdes - Orchies 63-75

Very expected game when 17th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (7-15) lost at home to twelfth ranked Orchesien BC (10-11) 75-63 on Saturday. Orchesien BC dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Lourdes-Tarbes' 30. It was a very good performance for American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Robert Turner (190-93, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Vincentian-Canadian forward Lien Phillip (203-89) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Xane dAlmeida (181-83) added 16 points and 8 assists in the effort for Lourdes-Tarbes. Orchesien BC have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place. Lourdes-Tarbes lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. Orchesien BC will face higher ranked UB Chartres (#5) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Lourdes-Tarbes will play against CFBB (#18) in Paris and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
