Top ranked Rockets (8-2) recorded its second loss in Nassau on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked the Bahamas (4-5) 81-74. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Rockets. the Bahamas forced 19 Rockets turnovers and outrebounded them 61-33 including a 28-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kemsy Sylvestre fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Justin Smith chipped in 17 points. the Bahamas' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lerecus Armbrister produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Kevin Wright (178, college: Bevill St.Sumiton JC) added 12 points, 8 assists and 5 steals respectively for lost side. the Bahamas maintains fourth position with 4-5 record. Rockets at the other side still keep top place with two games lost. the Bahamas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nassau Shockers.
