Regular Season Round 24: Ammerud Bskt - Fyllingen BBK 85-104

Very predictable result when third ranked Fyllingen BBK (16-10) rolled over 9th ranked Ammerud Bskt (7-18) in Oslo 104-85. The game was mostly controlled by Fyllingen BBK. Ammerud Bskt was better in third quarter 31-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Ammerud Bskt 44-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Fyllingen BBK especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-94, college: Texas A&M) who added 23 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Samuel-Amed Diomande (193-88) with 29 points and British center Morakinyo Williams (210-88, college: Citadel, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Fyllingen BBK and four Ammerud Bskt players scored in double figures. Fyllingen BBK have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Fyllingen BBK maintains third position with 16-10 record having seven points less than leader Asker Aliens. Ammerud Bskt lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 18 games lost. Fyllingen BBK will play against league's second-placed Kongsberg at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ammerud Bskt will play against Nidaros Jets (#8) in Tromdheim and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
