Regular Season Round 22: Treviso Basket - Alma Trieste 83-63

Serie A2 round 22 caused change at the leadership position. Sixth defeat of league's leader Alma Trieste (16-6) against fourth ranked Treviso Basket (14-8) 83-63 was the most important game of the last round. Treviso Basket forced 20 Alma Trieste turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Isaiah Swann (188-85, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points. The former international guard Matteo Fantinelli (196-93, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Treviso Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Treviso Basket maintains fourth position in A2 with 14-8 record. Alma Trieste at the other side dropped to the second place with six games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by F.Kontatto BO. Alma Trieste will play next round against Dinamica MNV trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Treviso Basket will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Tezenis Verona on the road.
