The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked JyWe's (11-8) road victory over 7th ranked HyPo (9-10) 97-72 on Sunday. The game without a history. JyWe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. JyWe had a 30-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Aleksi Kantonen (188-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Glenn Stokes (170-76, college: American) helped adding 26 points and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Five JyWe players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard DVon Campbell (185-92, college: Campbellsville) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Juhani Jokio (190-0) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. JyWe maintains sixth place in Division with 11-8 record. Loser HyPo keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. JyWe will have a break next round. HyPo will play on the road against the league's leader Loimaan Korikonkarit (#1) and hope to win that game.
