No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Valmontone (17-6) won against on the road 10th ranked Capo d'Orlando (10-13) 75-71 on Sunday. Valmontone made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Luca Bisconti (208-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Simone Rischia (185-90) helped adding 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Bosnian point guard Amar Balic (180-96) responded with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Andrea Sorrentino (190-90) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Valmontone moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Crema and Piacenza. Newly promoted Capo d'Orlando keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Valmontone will face Roma S.Azzurra (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Capo d'Orlando will play against Isernia and hope to win that game.
