Regular Season Round 23: Campli - Nardo 91-80

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Nardo (11-12) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Campli (13-10) 91-80 on Sunday. Campli forced 22 Nardo turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for power forward Gianluca Di-Carmine (200-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Federico Burini (191-93) helped adding 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Campli players scored in double figures. Swingman Alessandro Poti (192-91) responded with 26 points and 5 rebounds and forward Stefano Provenzano (195-86) scored 26 points and 4 assists. Campli moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with Forli Tigers. Newly promoted Nardo dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. Campli will face Pescara (#6) on the road in the next round. Nardo will play against Cerignola Udas and hope to win that game.
