We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 15th ranked Bergamo (4-18) lost on the road to sixteenth ranked Roseto Sharks (4-18) 94-85 on Sunday. It was a very good performance for Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Marco Contento (190-91) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Roseto Sharks' coach Emanuele Di Paolantonio allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American-Hungarian forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Inception Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Dominican guard Gelvis Solano (185-94, college: Merrimack) added 17 points and 5 assists in the effort for Bergamo. Five Roseto Sharks and four Bergamo players scored in double figures. Roseto Sharks moved-up to fifteenth place in A2. Roseto Sharks will face higher ranked Imola (#11) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bergamo will play against the league's leader F.Kontatto BO (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
