Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Roma Tiber (10-12) outscored at home 15th ranked Battipaglia (4-19) 87-56 on Sunday. Roma Tiber forced 20 Battipaglia turnovers. It was a great evening for power forward Andrea Valentini (199-98, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Guard Daniele Ricciardi (184-81) helped adding 14 points and 5 assists. Power forward Vittorio Visentin (205-95, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and guard Simon Anumba (191-96) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Roma Tiber moved-up to tenth place in B. Battipaglia at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. Roma Tiber's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Roma Roma Luiss.
