We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 12th ranked Villa Mitre CF (11-19) lost to thirteenth ranked CA Temperley (11-15) in Buenos Aires 71-84 on Sunday. American forward John-A Thomas (198-82, college: Columbus St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. Center Sebastian Chaine (201-86) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-93, college: New Haven) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds and guard Leandro Portillo (185-85) added 19 points in the effort for Villa Mitre CF. CA Temperley moved-up to eleventh place in South. Villa Mitre CF lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. CA Temperley will face higher ranked Rivadavia M. (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
