Regular Season Round 23: Scauri - Patti 79-56

Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Patti (5-18) was rolled over on the road by ninth ranked Scauri (11-12) 79-56 on Sunday. Scauri outrebounded Patti 44-31 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Davide Serino (199-81) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Andrea Longobardi (199-94) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Scauri players scored in double figures. Point guard Giorgio Busco (187-95) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Luigi Dispinseri (200-93) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Scauri moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Desio and Padova. Loser Patti keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Scauri will face Catanzaro (#9) on the road in the next round. Patti will play against Salerno (#5) and hope to win that game.
