Regular Season Round 26: Sokol Lancut - SKK Siedlce 85-83

Fifteenth-ranked SKK Siedlce (6-18) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked Sokol Lancut (18-6) on Wednesday. Sokol Lancut managed to secure only two-point victory 85-83. However their fans expected much easier game. Swingman Bartlomiej Karolak (199-92) notched 25 points to lead the effort and guard Marek Zywert (192-96) supported him with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 22 points and 5 rebounds by forward Rafal Krol (200-87) did not help to save the game for SKK Siedlce. Swingman Karol Obarek (194-93) added 20 points for the guests. Five Sokol Lancut and four SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. Sokol Lancut moved-up to third place, which they share with Polfarmex Kutno. SKK Siedlce lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 18 games lost. Sokol Lancut will meet GKS Tychy (#6) on the road in the next round. SKK Siedlce will play against Slask (#10) and hope to secure a win.
