Jass can celebrate their first win this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Costa Caribe (0-4) 97-84. Worth to mention a great performance of Warren Plowden who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Dominican Teodoro Romero contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Jass players scored in double figures. American center Timothy Jackson replied with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import Vanderies Christie added 20 points and 7 assists in the effort for Costa Caribe. Costa Caribe's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jass (1-2) left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Toros. It was Costa Caribe's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost.
