A very close game took place in Zamora between Zamarat and Sant Adria. Twelfth ranked Zamarat (5-15) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Sant Adria (9-11). Zamarat managed to escape with a 1-point win 82-81 on Wednesday evening. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 24-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian center Gisela Vega (188-82, agency: ProDep Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Nicole Michael (188-87, college: Syracuse, agency: Two Points) who added 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Zamarat players scored in double figures. Czech center Julia Reisingerova (194-98) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and international Belen Arrojo (188-95) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Zamarat maintains twelfth position with 5-15 record. Sant Adria lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth place with 11 games lost. Zamarat will meet league's leader Perfumerias Avenida in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sant Adria will play against Mann Filter (#3) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
