Regular Season Round 24: Syntex Ksiezak - Dziki Wwa 91-92

The game had a very big importance for eleventh-ranked Dziki Wwa as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group B. Dziki Wwa edged second-best Syntex Ksiezak in Lowicz 92-91. Dziki Wwa shot 62.5 percent from the field. They also forced 20 Syntex Ksiezak turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Rafal Holnicki-Szulc (188-89) who scored 18 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Guard Lukasz Pacocha (185-82) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists. Dziki Wwa's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) who recorded 25 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Bartlomiej Bojko (200-92) added 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Syntex Ksiezak at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. Syntex Ksiezak will play next round against Legia 2 W-wa trying to get back on the winning streak. Dziki Wwa will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked AZS UMCS Lbn in Lublin.
