Regular Season Round 27: Kotwica - Polfarmex Kutno 58-77

Not a big story in a game in Kolobrzeg where 12th ranked Kotwica (9-16) was rolled over by fourth ranked Polfarmex (19-6) 77-58 on Saturday. Polfarmex made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Kotwica turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Bartosz Majewski (188-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) helped adding 9 points and 9 rebounds. Four Polfarmex players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Pawel Dzierzak (188-95) with 14 points and 7 assists and power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Polfarmex have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Kotwica lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Polfarmex will face Biofarm PZN (#9) in Poznan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kotwica will play on the road against Nysa Klodzko and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
