Ninth-ranked Aishin Wings (8-21) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Toyota A. (24-5) in Anjo on Saturday. The visitors from Nagoya managed to secure only one-point victory 65-64. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 17-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Toyota A. made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Toyota A. had a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) saved the victory by scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. The former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Kiho Miyashita (178-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and point guard CaiDeng Sakai (164-95) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Aishin Wings.
