Regular Season Round 24: Pelplin - SMS PZKosz 110-64

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Pelpin. First ranked Pelplin faced 4th ranked SMS PZKosz. Host Pelplin (24-1) smashed guests from Wladyslawowo (14-9) 110-64. Pelplin dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SMS PZKosz's 24. Pelplin forced 22 SMS PZKosz turnovers and outrebounded them 39-19 including a 27-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by SMS PZKosz's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Marcin Chudy (188-86) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and Karol Majchrzak (195-97) who added 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Pelplin players scored in double figures. Pelplin's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Mateusz Szlachetka (194-99) with 31 points and 4 assists and forward Konrad Dawdo (198-99) scored 12 points. Pelplin have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 24-1 record. Loser SMS PZKosz dropped to the seventh place with nine games lost. Pelplin will meet at home Trefl II Sopot (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SMS PZKosz will play against Suchy Las in Poznan and hope to secure a win.
