Second Stage Round 4: Racing - BC Mess 89-61

An interesting game for Racing (10-12) which hosted in Luxembourg 4th ranked BC Mess (11-11). First ranked Racing had an easy win 89-61. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to BC Mess' 34 and made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded BC Mess 49-31 including a 40-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Mexican forward Aaron Fuller (198-89, college: USC, agency: Haylett Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 24 rebounds and American swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Four Racing players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Richard Ross (198-92, college: ODU) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Dylan Talley (196-89, college: Nebraska, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. BC Mess' coach John Griffin gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Racing have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Racing maintains first position with 10-12 record. BC Mess at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Racing will play against league's second-placed Kordall Steelers in Rodange in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Mess will play on the road against Contern in Luxembourg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
