Regular Season Round 23: Satria Muda - NSH 73-79

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Satria Muda (14-2) in Jakarta on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked NSH (3-13) 79-73. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Satria Muda. NSH forced 20 Satria Muda turnovers. Strangely Satria Muda outrebounded NSH 50-36 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for American guard Brachon Griffin (185-92, college: Elizabeth City, agency: SDJ Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 50 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Raylly Pratama (194-90) helped adding 9 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-87, college: USF) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and international forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. NSH maintains fifth place with 3-13 record. Satria Muda at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. NSH will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Satria Muda will play on the road against Bima Perkasa in Sakti and is hoping to win this game.
