Regular Season Round 18: CFBB - Charnay 61-55

Bottom-ranked CFBB managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they won against fourth-ranked Charnay in Paris 61-55. CFBB forced 21 Charnay turnovers. Power forward Kendra Chery (184-1) had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Kenza Salgues (174-0) chipped in 15 points during the contest. CFBB's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Ivorian center Kariata Diaby (192-95) with 23 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Melanie Devaux (170-92) scored 10 points. CFBB (4-14) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with SIG. Newly promoted Charnay keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. CFBB will meet higher ranked Arras (#9) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Charnay will play against Reze (#8) and hope to secure a win.
