Regular Season Round 21: Breidablik - Snaefell 44-79

The game with biggest result difference took place in Kopavogur. Local Breidablik (9-12) was outscored by seventh ranked Snaefell (9-12) 79-44. The game was mostly controlled by Snaefell. Breidablik was better in third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Breidablik to just 6 points in first quarter. Breidablik's coach Hildur Sigurdardottir gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Snaefell moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Breidablik and Skallagrimur. Snaefell's next round opponent will be higher ranked Keflavik (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Breidablik will play against the league's second-placed Valur and hope to win that game.
