Very important is a road loss of second ranked Toulouse (13-5) against fifth ranked Montbrison (10-8) on Saturday night. Visiting Toulouse was defeated by Montbrison in a tough game in Montbrison 66-72. It was a good game for Estonian power forward Maaja Bratka (190-92, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Patricia Bright (193-91, college: Oregon St., agency: LBM Management) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Australian forward Mikaela Ruef (190-90, college: Stanford) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and guard Sylvie Gruszczynski (173-86) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Toulouse. Montbrison maintains fifth position with 10-8 record. Toulouse at the other side dropped to the third place with five games lost. Montbrison will play against bottom-ranked SIG (#12) in llkirch-Graff. in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Toulouse will play at home against COB Calais (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
