Not a big story in a game in Aichi where 10th ranked Aishin Wings (8-22) were defeated by seventh ranked Toyota B SR (17-13) 69-52 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Toyota B SR. Aishin Wings managed to win second period 11-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Center Eri Hatanaka (178-91) chipped in 16 points. Four Toyota B SR players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Hikari Itaya (176-93) who recorded 16 points and center Baiq Ghua (185-92) added 9 points and 13 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyota B SR maintains seventh position with 17-13 record. Aishin Wings lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with 22 games lost. They share the position with Haneda Vickies. Toyota B SR will meet at home higher ranked Mitsubishi K. (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Aishin Wings will play against Chanson V-M and hope to secure a win.
