Regular Season Round 27: SKK Siedlce - Slask Wroclaw 78-83

Very expected game when 15th ranked SKK Siedlce (6-19) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Slask (12-14) 83-78 on Sunday. It was a great evening for forward Mateusz Stawiak (203-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 8 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was center Rafal Rajewicz (204-88, agency: Promotex) with 21 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and forward Rafal Krol (200-87) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Slask and five SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. Slask have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Slask maintains eighth place with 12-14 record. SKK Siedlce lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. Slask will face higher ranked GKS Tychy (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. SKK Siedlce will play against Enea Astoria (#10) in Bydgoszcz and hope to win that game.
