Seventh-ranked Amancay LR (3-15) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Independ. Oliva (11-5) in La Rioja. The visitors from Cordoba managed to secure only one-point victory 94-93. However their fans expected easier game. Independ. Oliva players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by center Cristian Scaramuzzino (207-92) who scored that evening 26 points and 7 rebounds and guard Daniel Tabbia (195-93) supported him with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Independ. Oliva's coach Martin Gonzalez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 28 points and 8 rebounds by guard Rodrigo Campos (190-83) did not help to save the game for Amancay LR.
