Regular Season Round 24: Palma II - Salt 94-66

Very expected game when 13th ranked Salt (4-14) was smashed by fourth ranked Palma II (13-5) in S'Arenal 94-66 on Sunday. It was a good game for center Carlos Bustamante (201-88) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Miguel Corbacho (192-79) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Palma II's coach Pau Tomas felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Tylor Wimbish (201-93, college: Mo.-St.Louis) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Keith Wilson (191-83, college: CS Monterey) added 12 points in the effort for Salt. Palma II moved-up to second place in Group C-B, which they share with Pardinyes-L. Salt lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Palma II will face Valls Nutrion (#6) on the road in the next round. Salt will play against Cornella (#7) and hope to win that game.
