Very expected game when 12th ranked Unieuro Forli (9-14) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Kleb Ferrara (13-10) 87-81 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Kleb Ferrara made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Kleb Ferrara outrebounded Unieuro Forli 42-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Unieuro Forli was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kleb Ferrara moved-up to seventh place in A2. Loser Unieuro Forli dropped to the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Kleb Ferrara will face higher ranked Treviso Basket (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Unieuro Forli will play against Agribertocchi OR (#16) and hope to win that game.
