Regular Season Round 4: Aztks - Reinas 68-48

An interesting game for Aztks (3-1) which hosted in one of their biggest challengers Reinas (2-2). Third ranked Aztks had an easy win 68-48. Aztks outrebounded Reinas 44-25 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Charisse Burruel who helped to win the game recording 19 points and Cuban center Klavdia Calvo (186-83) who added 8 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Sofia Moreno (185-88) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Lucia Sanchez (167-93) scored 8 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aztks moved-up to second place, which they share with Gamos. Reinas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Mieleras. Aztks will play against Mieleras (#4) in Guanajuato in the next round. Reinas will play on the road against the league's leader Lobas in Ciudad de Mexico and hope to get back on the winning track.
